Welcome to my new website! Ever since I was young I have had an interest in music. Through my childhood and my teenage years that interest developed into a passion. I learnt to play the guitar from the age of ten and through my love of the guitar became involved in using effects to shape the sound of my instrument, experimenting with different types of distortion and how equalisation changes dramatically altered the sound of my guitar. I wanted to be able to show others what I had done and wanted to be able to hear how myself and others interacted in a band situation and so I started to record myself and my band of the time. Following this interest in recording myself I purchased a digital recording unit and began to experiment with recording others and trying to emulate the professional production on CDs. I soon realised that in order to become more professional I needed to step up from my eight track digital recorder. I moved into the computer recording world with first Cubasis and then Pro-Tools. I studied Music Technology at Thames Valley University, Reading, England. During my time there I increased my knowledge of music production and production software packages including Reason and Logic Pro. I also broadened my musical horizons and started to listen to, and produce lots of different styles that I would not have previously considered. Since leaving TVU I decided that my passion in music was where my career should lie, so I started up PNF recording (Passion Not Fashion.) I now want to share my passion of music and production with others and help them achieve the recordings that they deserve, to consolidate or boost their careers in music or just for fun! I now offer a broad range of services that include include both audio and visual elements:
